‘Meerkat’ is a pristine example of the highly sought after and widely acclaimed Seawind 1600 performance cruising catamaran.

This rare 2021 Seawind 1600 has under 380 hours on each of her upgraded 80hp Yanmar Y4JH80 engines. The Yanmars are complemented with dual VC10 electronic throttles for ease of control, Gori folding props and Shark Shaft rope cutters.

Sail inventory includes Doyle GPL Liteskin mainsail, Doyle GPL Liteskin 95% jib, Doyle storm jib with furler, and a new screecher to replace the existing Doyle screecher (either exact Doyle replacement from factory or you may opt for $15K credit).

Deck hardware includes three Harken 50 2 speed electric self tailing winches (2 primaries and 1 control lines), five Harken 50 2 speed manual self tailing winches (2 secondaries, 2 mainsheet and 1 at mast). The rigging aloft on the twin spreader aluminum rig includes Future Fibres synthetic inner and outer cap shrouds, which saves roughly 70% of the weight versus the traditional stainless steel dieform wires. Captive carbon fiber daggerboards and retractable carbon fiber rudders enable you to get into the most shallow of waters, or even beach the boat, if desired. Carbon fiber davits and retractable carbon fiber add further weight savings fore and aft.

Full B&G electronics include two B&G Zeus 3 12 inch chartplotters (one at nav station and one at port helm), B&G autopilot controller, B&G Structurescan side scanning sonar, four B&G 4″ multifunction displays, AIS transceiver and B&G Halo 20+ radar.

Communications gear includes B&G V60-B VHF at nav station, 2nd wireless mic at port helm, Siren marine cellular monitoring and Pep Wave cellular modem/amplifier.

Cruising and comfort features include air conditioning, 3 zone heating system, Flexiteek decking in the cockpit and on the deck, Spectra Cape Horn watermaker with Z Ion unit, Bauer Junior II dive compressor and washing machine.

You will never find the vessel short on power with 2x 400ah Mastervolt lithium ion batteries, upgraded Mastervolt high power alternators, 1148W of walkable solar on the hardtop, and Fischer Panda 10000i 8kw generator. C-Zone digital switching and monitoring allows you to keep a tab at all times on power production and consumption, as well as the status of your fuel and freshwater tankage.

Entertainment is provided by upgraded AV system featuring 43′ smart TV paired to Fusion stereo with subwoofer and multiple speakers inside and out.

All safety gear is current and included with the vessel, including life raft mounted in a dedicated locker under the bridgedeck.
