The Seawind 1260 is built with serious blue water cruisers in mind. 1260s rely heavily on composite materials throughout and the hull is infused with vinylester modified epoxy resin. This not only saves weight, but strengthens the boat, while also increasing performance and payload capacity.
Visibility is huge, with 360° vision all around and twin helm stations. By keeping the helms person level with the cockpit, the helms person is able to easily communicate with crew throughout the boat.
The 1260’s innovative tri-fold doors easily retract into the hard top, allowing you to create a single indoor/outdoor living area, with expansive seating, outdoor BBQ, sink and ice box.
Sail handling is a cinch with the large, fully battened, roachy main in a stack pack, and two fall block on the headboard for low sail raising effort. All sail controls are led through mast base turning blocks and fairleads back to the cockpit in an orderly manner. Tacking and gybing the 1260 is an incredibly simple one person activity, with a self-tacking jib.
The Seawind 1260 offers powerful sailing features without sacrificing luxury.
